It has been a long and hard few years. All my work has been on stop for so long. I am happy to announce that my daughter is now through Hodgkins and I can at last be free to return to my loves and interests and continue work on this project at last.... slowly begin rev up the engines. lol.
I am looking forward to restarting all of this again... In some ways this period has been very good to come back and look at this with new eyes.
Flowers of Myddfai a perfumed and embroidered narrative
By researching manuscripts from the 14th century and Professor Turner's authentic list, I hope to visually and aromatically purvey the plant life used by the Physicians of Myddfai.
There has been much interest and support for this project so I have decided to produce a separate entry apart from Janita's Attar.
You will be able to follow the development, the story, decisions, travels and photos that belong to the story of The Physicians of Myddfai.... I have chosen to call it Flowers of.... as I am working with embroidery and natural perfume using the flowers and herbs from the physicians formulaes as inspiration.The legend and fairytale myth that accompanies this extraordinary story helps me to embellish and create something ethereal for people to enjoy for many years to come and hopefully long after I am gone.
